What Is Precision Agriculture?<\/h2><\/div>
Precision agriculture seeks to use new technologies to increase crop yields and profitability while lowering the levels of traditional inputs needed to grow crops (land, water, fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides). In other words, farmers utilizing precision agriculture are using less to grow more. As we began to open new farm locations across the country, we discovered even greater efficiencies as we deployed precision farming methodologies.     Spot spraying of crops used to be incredibly difficult. If you had an issue with weeds or a certain crop, the entire acreage would have to be sprayed.<\/p>\n
